Module Exp1 : Bases de Radio-Assist

This training is designed for all radio staff needing to use Radio-Assist. Training involves the tabs: Browser, Record and Import.

Whenthis module is complete the trainees will be able to:

• search the database for sound items using differentselection criteria;

• play sound items;

• use the basic functions for the audio utility recordingmodes;

• make a sound recording from an internal or externalsource (MD, microphone, etc.);

• make multiple takes;

• select the best take;

• index a recording and save it in the database;

• import items to the database.

1. Introduction.
   

   • Description of the project architecture.

   • The workstation.

   • Database principle.

2. Description of the NETIA system features.

3. Description of the workstation features.

4. Using the database Browser.
   

   • File search by tab.

   • File search by selection criteria.

   • Using the Browser buttons and the mouse.

   • Playing a sound item.

5. Recording.

   • Using different recording modes.

   • Setting markers, indexing in the database.

   • Recording text or audio files.

   • Finding a recorded file.

6. Import.

   • Importing an item from different sound sources.
