Module Exp 2 : Montage simple

This training is designed for all radio staff needing to use Radio-Assist.
The number of days depends on the number of editing tools required.
Allow 1 day for 2 tools (e.g.: easy-cut and mono-track) and 2 days for 3 tools (easy-cut, mono-track and snippets).
Multi-track editing is not part of this module.
Training involves the tabs: Easy-cut, Mono-track and Snippets.

Objectif

When this module is complete the trainees will be able to :

• make cuts from sound items;

• adjust the level of sound sequences;

• index and save edited items;

• find edited items in the database;

• modify an edited item.

Programme

1. Loading sound files.

   • Loading raw, virtual and recent items.

2. Using the graduated band.

3. Description of playback tools.

   • Slow playback, fast playback, sequence playback.

   • Keyboard shortcuts.

4. Cut points.

   • Positioning cut points.

   • Modifying cut points.

   • Automatic blank detection.

   • Keyboard shortcuts.

5. Adjusting the level of sound sequences.
